Each month we present a DVD on a different health or nutrition topic. Frequently these are presentations from a past Wise Traditions Conference.
RSVP: RSVP to
if you think you will be attending. If your plans change feel free to just show up.
Cost: Donations of $5-10 donation to the Eugene Chapter are suggested and appreciated. (No one should miss a showing because of cost, so a sliding scale for low-income people is $1-4 or volunteer to help the Eugene Chapter).
Food Preparation Classes
We present food preparation classes as often as possible. Each class covers 3-5 (or more!) recipes with demonstrations and samples to taste.
See the Food Preparation Classes page for more information. Details on upcoming classes are posted in the newsletter.
Special Presentations & Other Events
The Eugene Chapter staffs a booth at various events throughout the year. We can provide your school, church, organization or group with a presentation on a Weston A. Price topic of your choice. Please contact us to discuss options.
We have found that the best resource for information on local foods is available in the "Locally Grown" directory produced by the Willamette Food and Farm Coalition. These directories are available for free at many Natural Food Stores and other locations around Eugene and Springfield, and they are now searchable online at: www.lanefood.org. We have these free directories available at many of our local events.
We also maintain a list of local producers of raw milk. Contact us if you would like to be emailed a copy of the current list.
